Ms. Hill's Biography
Prior to founding Hill & Associates, Bonnie held various diverse positions including: Comptrollers Department at SNET Co., providing accounting services to subsidiary companies; a local CPA firm, providing consulting services to small businesses; Controller of a manufacturing service company, and; several years at Aetna, evaluating the effectiveness of their accounting procedures and computer systems. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Quinnipiac College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems, Bonnie has also undertaken graduate studies in business management and taxation at the University of Connecticut and the University of Hartford. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Bonnie is a Certified Internal Auditor, and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. She is a member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs, where she serves on the CSCPA Continuing Professional Education Committee and the Committee on Relations with Bankers. An active member of the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, Bonnie serves on their Board of Directors as well as their Business Education Committee and Small Business Council. She is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the National Association for Female Executives and serves as a volunteer with the non-profit Community Accounting Aid and Services. Bonnie has published various articles dealing with issues facing small businesses and received the Connecticut Society of CPAs 1996 Distinguished Author Award.
